FROM CIAMPINO AIRPORT TO CAMPING PORTICCIOLO

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT , two possibilities :

1) from Ciampino Airport a public bus Cotral to the Metro Station "Anagnina",

on the Metro line "A" ( it starts every 30-55 min., the journey takes up to

25 min.)

+ Metro from Anagnina till the station Valle Aurelia ( it starts every 7-10

min., the journey takes up to 30-35 min.)

+ train from Valle Aurelia to Bracciano , it is the line

"Roma-Bracciano-Viterbo", starting every 30 min., getting Bracciano in 50

min.

2) from Ciampino Airport a public bus Cotral to Ciampino train Station ( it

starts every 10-15 min., the journey takes up to 15 min.)

+ train to Roma Termini Station ( it starts every 20/25 min., the journey

takes up to 15 min.)

+ Metro line "A" to the station Valle Aurelia ( it starts every 7-10 min., the

journey takes up to 15 min.)

+ train from Valle Aurelia to Bracciano , it is the line

"Roma-Bracciano-Viterbo", starting every 30 min., getting Bracciano in 50

min.

The tickets : the most easy way is to buy at the Airport only one ticket , the

ticket BIRG 3, euro 6,00, because this is available for the whole day for all

public transports including the train to Bracciano.

If you have an interail ticket for the trains, you will pay 1,00 euro for each

metro or bus trip.

When you are in Bracciano : the camping Porticciolo is on the

Lake, 2 km far from Bracciano ; there is a municipal bus service

from Piazza Pasqualetti or Piazza Dante, near the Station: the line D, at

h.10,00 - 11,05 - 12,05 - 13,25 - 14,00 - 15,05 - 16,20 - 17,50 - 19,35.

The tickets for the municipal bus it is 0,80 euro to pay to the driver.

N.B. By request we can pick you at Bracciano's train station for the charge of 5,00 euro 5 persons included, or 1,00 eur each if the number of people is more than five. This service by request has to be asked 2 hours in advance.

the taxi from Bracciano can be available, by reservation, to pick up you from Ciampino Airport to the camping Porticciolo. His price ( 80-100,00 euro) is cheaper than the taxi from Roma, and we can book for it.
